Grilled Garlic Langoustines

Serve with lemon wedges.

Ingredients

  • 2-4 langoustines per person
  • 100g melted butter
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Salt and pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Method

  • Rinse the langoustines under cold water.
  • Split each langoustine lengthwise but don't push the knife through the shell on the back of the torso.
  • Melt the butter and mix with the crushed garlic, lemon juice and little bit of olive oil.
  • Place the langoustines on a baking tray, brush over generously with the butter mix and sprinkle some salt and black pepper on top.
  • Place under hot grill for about 8 minutes.
  • Serve with lemon wedges.
