It is very easy to make your own.
- 200g canned chickpeas
- 3 tblsp lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove
- 100ml tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 4 tblsp water
- 2 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Drain the chickpeas and rinse.
- Combine the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, salt, tahini, paprika and water in a food processor, and blend to a creamy consistency.
- You can add more of the seasonings and garlic according to taste.
- Serve with rice cakes, crispy lettuce, raw veggies etc.
