Interview notes and a cue card from Gerry Adams interview on 'The Late Late Show'.
In 1994, Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams was interviewed on 'The Late Late Show' while in Dublin to attend the Forum on Peace and Reconciliation. It was his first appearance on the programme and followed the lifting of the Section 31 ban earlier that year. Much comment was made afterwards of the presenter Gay Byrne not shaking Gerry Adams's hand.
This document is a cue card and interview notes prepared in advance for Gay Byrne. The focus is on events in Northern Ireland, past, present and future.
