One young woman describes how stones were thrown, abuse was shouted and the police did nothing. Another young woman describes how they had tried to avoid being hit by stones by crossing a field and being forced into the river. However, she describes how they were pelted repeatedly with stones and received no assistance from the police.

Michael Farrell then addresses the marchers before they continue. The People's Democracy march finally enters Derry City, and thousands gather in Guildhall Square to meet them. A police line divides the civil rights protesters from their Loyalist opponents. As they arrive in Derry city, the protestors are welcomed and cheered on by supporters outside Guildhall.
