Stephen Gately and Elaine Murphy are two members of the Walk The Talk theatre group.

The City Arts Centre are running a series of theatre productions with an emphasis on youth and young people's work. Walk The Talk is a theatre group from Coolock in Dublin and their production 'Whether You Like It Or Not' opens tonight and runs for four nights. Elaine Murphy explains how the group was established in 1987 as part of a youth club. Since then, it has been awarded funding and has written and performed a number of plays.

Seventeen year old Stephen Gately is the youngest member of Walk The Talk. After seeing one of their productions he approached group members expressing his interest in joining.

Elaine Murphy says acting provides her with an adrenaline boost. Stephen Gately says that acting has helped him to come out of his shell. Both try to go to as many plays as they can to see other actors at work. The play 'Whether You Like It Or Not' focuses on censorship and was developed through improvisation before being scripted and choreographed.
