'The Humours of Donnybrook' was a traditional music, song and chat show presented by Ciarán Mac Mathúna and produced by Peter Canning. It also included some literary items and Irish dance. While the first series featured musicians who were well-known at the time, the aim of the second, initially called 'More Humours of Donnybrook', was to showcase those who were less familiar to television audiences. The title reverted to 'The Humours of Donnybrook' halfway through the second series and for the third and final series. The first episode was broadcast on 20 December 1978 and the last on 23 December 1981.
