Musicians from across Ireland look forward to performing at the National Concert Hall at the Festival of Youth Orchestras.
Fifty five musicians will come together for the first time to perform as Young Orchestral Pops for the Festival of Youth Orchestras. The young musicians are busy rehearsing for their performance but looking forward to taking to the stage. Young Orchestral Pops was formed in 2002 and performs a wide range of music that includes Disney classics, pop and classical.
Director Kitty Dalligan says that performing on stage at the National Concert Hall is a huge opportunity for the young musicians that make up the orchestra.
They will meet with other orchestras. They will meet with other students. They're doing music. They're learning how to perform.
