With Christmas approaching there are gifts to be got, food to be bought and a tree to bring home.

The streets of Dublin, Cork and Limerick are packed with people doing their Christmas shopping.

In department stores shoppers queue to buy gifts and the cash register tills are ringing. There is plenty of demand for fruit, vegetables turkeys and Christmas trees.
