Over 40,000 women take part in the 10km run through Dublin raising money for charity.
The 27th Dublin Women's Mini Marathon took place in the June Bank Holiday heat.
Everybody's here just for a really good time.
At 3.00 pm, the women made their way over the start line to begin the 10 kilometre route. Since the event began in 1983, over half a million women have run, walked and even crawled the route raising millions for charity.
Rosemary Ryan from Limerick was the first across the finish line in an impressive time of 34 and a half minutes. She says she runs better when not paying attention to the time. Second place went to Pauline Curley with Annette Healy coming in third position.
