Greystones gets ready for summer by removing seaweed and other debris from the harbour area.

Wicklow County Council has begun a big clean-up of Greystones Harbour to prepare for the upcoming summer season,

When it's a busy place for hundreds of visitors and many folks using the harbour.

Due to the tide, the hours of work for the bulldozer are irregular. It is working two sessions a day from 6 am to 11 am and from 7:30pm until dusk. The work is expected to be completed within the next two days.

It entails removing tonnes of rotting seaweed and other material from around the slipway and the Kish base.
