Units from the Dublin Fire Brigade fight blaze at the Ballsbridge exhibition venue, the RDS.
Dublin Fire Brigade were called to a fire at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin. It took five units of Dublin Fire Brigade to get the blaze under control.
The Serpentine Hall was completely destroyed by the fire and a small section of the adjoining Paddock Hall. Several portacabins and 1,200 bales of hay, were also ruined. No one was injured in the fire but extensive damage was caused and will cost thousands to repair.
