The world premiere of 'Widows' Peak', written by Hugh Leonard, at the Savoy Cinema in Dublin.
'Widows' Peak is a black comedy set in a peaceful Irish town in the early 1920s.
Most of the men in the town are dead and the women live in an area known as 'Widows' Peak'.
The film stars Mia Farrow, Joan Plowright, Natasha Richardson, Adrian Dunbar and Jim Broadbent and is directed by John Irvin. The screenplay is by Hugh Leonard and Tim Hayes.
Director John Irvin has nothing but praise for the cast and crew. Mia Farrow is looking forward to making another film with John Irvin. Hugh Leonard is currently writing something which they hope to make next year.
For Hugh Leonard, it is hard to believe the film is complete after ten years in the making.
