National Song Contest hopeful Linda Martin performs 'Terminal 3'.
Over several weeks ‘The Late Late Show’ previews the 8 songs that will compete in the 19th National Song Contest on 31 March 1984.

The song is called ‘Terminal 3’ written by Seán Sherrard otherwise known as Johnny Logan.
At the National Song Contest ‘Terminal 3’ is chosen to represent Ireland at the 29th Eurovision Song Contest in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg on 5 May 1984.
Sweden’s The Herreys are the winners of this contest with the song ‘Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley’. They beat Linda Martin to the top spot by just 8 points.
Linda Martin went on to win the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest for Ireland with ‘Why Me?’, which was also written by Johnny Logan.
