Final preparations for exhibitors ahead of the Irish International Boat Show at the RDS in Dublin.

The second Irish International Boat Show at Dublin's Royal Dublin Society (RDS) will be officially opened by Minister for Defence Patrick Donegan.

The exhibition of a vast range of boating and boating equipment is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors.

The exhibitors from this country include boatbuilders, boat hiring companies and manufacturers of marine equipment.

Other attractions include a special safety afloat pavilion, deep sea diving demonstrations and a Miss Watersports beauty competition.

The National Sea Scouts signalling competitions will also be held during the show.

The Irish International Boat Show runs from 2- 10 March 1974.
