A German Shepherd named Tara is the garage attendant at the Knock Road Filling Station in Belfast.
Working dog breeds have performed a vast array of jobs over the years. When motorists pull into the Knock Road Filling Station in Belfast they are met by a unique garage attendant, Tara the German Shepherd dog.
Tara becomes anxious when left alone at home. So, every day her owner Jim Wright leaves Tara at his neighbour Roy Campbell's petrol station before he goes to work.
Roy Campbell makes the most of Tara’s customer service abilities,
She has gained quite a bit of a local reputation for collecting the petrol money and bringing it to the till.
As well as dealing with cash, she also brings motorists their Green Shield saving stamps, although Tara is less accomplished at this aspect of the job.
