Delegates from twenty different countries in Dublin Divine Victory convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Those attending the five day meeting at the RDS in Dublin listen to speakers from the congregation and readings from the scriptures.

Peter Barnes who is serving as a Jehovah's Witness missionary in Zaire shares some of his experiences. He tells the story of one brother who was imprisoned and persecuted. His family were brought in to discourage him and to try and force him to support the political ideas and salute the flag. He remained faithful and did not succumb to any of the ideas presented to him.

One attendee outlined the objectives of the gathering through studying the scriptures. He says that the meeting is an opportunity for believers from different parts of the world to come together to get to know their Christian brothers and sisters.

The object is to gather together to study God's word.

Another participant says that Ireland is in need of good news and Jehovah Witnesses bring the best of good news for mankind to unite all men in peace and happiness.
