They’ve only been together for two years and there’s some wonderful things being said about them.
The Fat Lady Sings are vocalist Nick Kelly, guitarist Tim Bradshaw, bassist Dermot Lynch and drummer Robert Hamilton. Originally from Dublin the band have been London-based since 1986.
The Fat Lady Sings perform ‘The King of Freedom’. This track is the B-side of the band's second single ‘Be Still’ released in March 1988.
The second series of ‘Megamix’ was recorded in in St Kevin's Church on Harrington Street in Dublin. The programme was recorded in front of an audience and combined live performances with music videos. The featured music was dance-oriented and shots of audience members dancing also appeared in the programme. The series presenters were Flo McSweeney and Kevin Sharkey.
