Four women are among the new members of the Enniskillen Flying Club in Fermanagh.
Established in September 1977, the Enniskillen Flying Club operates out of St Angelo Airport in County Fermanagh.
The 20 new members of the flying club include four women. They will be instructed by the club's chief flying instructor Captain Milos Safranek, originally from Czechoslovakia.
Captain Safranek will train students from Northern Ireland, Cavan, Leitrim, Monaghan, Sligo and Donegal.
St Angelo Airport, lay derelict from 1946 and 1970 when Fermanagh County Council and local business owners decided to open it as a commercial airport.
The club members now have a wide range of modern facilities at their disposal and 10 aircraft are based at the airport which is located in one of Ireland’s most scenic lake districts.
