The Limerick Chronicle newspaper celebrates 200 years with the publication of a special souvenir issue.

The Limerick Chronicle marks its 200th year with a special souvenir issue on 12 November 1966. This edition of the newspaper is the biggest ever published and includes a host of special articles and features. The front page headline announces,

We are 200 years old.

Hot off the printing press, copies of the special issue are brought over to a group of men that includes Limerick Chronicle editor Tom Tobin. They inspect the newspaper and appear pleased with the result.
