Kilfrush House owned by an Irish American will be home for the President of the USA Richard Nixon during a visit to Ireland.
When President Richard Nixon and his wife Patricia fly into Shannon Airport for an official visit to Ireland, they will go directly to Kilfrush House in County Limerick. The Nixons will spend two nights at the luxurious property owned by their friend the Irish American businessman John Mulcahy.

I think he’s the one that’s going to save democracy for us.
Kilfrush House surrounded by lawns and shrubbery and is part of a 250 acre estate. John Mulcahy says President Nixon has wanted to visit the venue for a number of years. At some point in the future, Richard Nixon plans to take a holiday in Waterville, County Kerry and spend time in Ireland.

In advance of the presidential visit, security at Kilfrush House has intensified. Numerous workers have been engaged to ensure the property is fit for a president. A modern extension has been completed and a heated outdoor swimming pool and numerous water features added. The interior of Kilfrush House is filled with chandeliers, original oil paintings and antiques.
