The Gannon Cup Boat Race is an annual event in which TCD and UCD go head to head in a boat race on the River Liffey to win the perpetual challenge trophy.
This year's race the 42nd running of the event was won by Trinity College who celebrated by unceremoniously dumping their female cox into the River Liffey.
