Donncha Ó Dúlaing follows the journey of John Wesley on horseback to raise funds for a Cork housing project.
Donncha Ó Dúlaing's latest efforts for charity follow the journey made by the Methodist church founder, John Wesley in and around Cork City and county.
More used to walking for charity on this occasion Donncha Ó Dúlaing is travelling the route of Wesley’s evangelising tours on horseback.
It’s my first experience of long range horse riding, I’m sure Texan is well up to it, whether I am of course is another matter.
The tour of Cork is to help raise funds for the Methodist congregation’s Ardfallen project. At an estimated cost of £1 million, they plan to convert the site of Ardfallen House on the Douglas Road to provide thirty units of sheltered housing for the elderly.
When completed the housing units will be available to all sections of the community.
