Four years after her late husband President John F Kennedy visited Ireland, Jackie Kennedy is in Dublin to meet President Éamon de Valera and his wife Sinéad.

Jackie Kennedy was in Ireland on holiday with her two children Caroline and John. Mrs Kennedy was accompanied to Áras an Uachtaráin by two American friends Mr and Mrs Murray McDonnell, who she was spending a holiday with at Woodstown House in County Waterford.
