John Giles reflects on turning 50. and being inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.

Former Leeds United and Republic of Ireland player and now a pundit John Giles reflects on his career no that he is fifty years of age.

I have an ambition now Shay to try and enjoy myself a bit more than I did for the previous 50 years.

He chats with Shay Healy about the financial side of playing football professionally and how things have changed. John Giles did not enjoy his time in management although he loved working with players the other demands from club owners and the media were less appealing.

Now a commentator and writer on football John Giles says the job is good fun and is a way of staying involved in the game he loved to play.
