Dublin Festival of Medieval Music in 1988.
A series of Millennium Events took place in Easter 1988 to mark the Dublin Millennium year. These events included: a boat race on the River Liffey between Trinity College and University College Dublin; the Irish Open Chess Championships; and the first Dublin Festival of Medieval Music.
Musicians from the Early Music Organisation provide a preview of what will be on offer at the Dublin Festival of Medieval Music by playing on a horse drawn float in St. Stephen's Green.
