On Sunday Cork and Monaghan will battle it out at Croke Park to be the 2013 Ladies All Ireland Football Champions. Last year the teams met at the semi-final stage when Cork emerged victorious on their way to another title. This weekend Cork will be looking to be champions for the eighth time in nine years.

The teams have met a number of times in the championship in  recent years, with Cork emerging as winners. In the 2008 final, with the Rebelettes winning their fourth title in a row, substitute Ciara O'Sullivan  came on to score Cork's third goal.
