Police in Co Down are treating the death of a 20-year-old woman found in her home as suspicious.
The woman's body was discovered by officers in Drumalane Park, Newry, this morning.
Police said officers were treating the woman's death as "suspicious at this time".
A post-mortem examination is to be conducted to establish the cause of her death.
A 23-year-old man has since been arrested.
Police say the investigation is at an early stage and are currently not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
Sinn Féin MP Mickey Brady said the local community is in shock.
"I want to express my condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the woman who has died at this sad time," he said.
