Two people have been rescued from a fire at a housing complex in south Belfast.

The blaze broke out at the Russell Court building in Claremont Street, off the Lisburn Road this morning.

Six fire engines and an aerial appliance were sent to the scene to fight the blaze.

The condition of the two people is not yet known.
