A man was injured in a "paramilitary-style" incident in north Belfast last night.

The man, aged in his 30s, was shot in the legs.

The shooting happened in the Jamaica Street area of the city at around 11pm.

The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The PSNI has appealed for anyone who witnessed the shooting to contact them.
