Fianna Fáil TD Michael McGrath has accused the Taoiseach of questioning Fianna Fáil's bona fides in the ongoing talks on the confidence and supply arrangement renewal.
Speaking on RTÉ's The Week in Politics, Mr McGrath said his party has provided stability over the last two and a half years and has given a commitment that there should not be an election while Brexit uncertainty continues.
He said his party is not engaging in any tactic over talks and Leo Varadkar is questioning Fianna Fáil’s bona fides.

He accused Fine Gael of being unwilling and impatient to have its track record in areas like housing and health properly assessed.
He said there seems to be a view that you put a new agreement in front of Fianna Fáil and they will sign up to it until 2020.
Mr McGrath added the only person and party that is creating uncertainty is the Taoiseach and Fine Gael.

Speaking on the same programme, Fine Gael TD Peter Burke asked how long does it take to review a seven-page document line by line.
He said they should conclude with the review and get on with putting meat on the bones.
The Labour Party’s Joan Burton said every week the Dáil is swept with rumours there will be an election but in the country there are difficulties like the state of the health services and the Government’s failure to engage on housing.
