The chair of the Oireachtas committee which is looking at the recommendations of the Citizens' Assembly in relation to the Eighth Amendment has said that all issues raised by Assembly will be looked at.
Senator Catherine Noone said none of the recommendations made by the Citizens' Assembly were being excluded.
Her comments come amid reports that some of the recommendations on easing restrictions to abortion here were not going to be considered by the committee.
Solidarity-PBP TD Ruth Coppinger had claimed the first working plan for the committee was too restrictive.
However, Ms Coppinger said it was challenged at a private meeting today and she is now satisfied that all the Assembly's recommendations will now be looked at.
She said the first draft plan focused only on proposals to allow abortion in cases of fatal fetal abnormality and rape.
The order in which the committee will carry out its work has also been changed with the question of repealing the Eighth Amendment set to be examined first.
Experts who will address the committee will also be allowed to have "a point of view" on the issue, Ms Coppinger said.
The Committee is expected to hold its first public meeting on 20 September and will have three months to make recommendations to the Dáil and Seanad.
