A climber has been rescued by helicopter following a fall at cliffs near Dingle.
It is understood the man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The man was with a group of climbers when he got in to difficulty and fell almost 10m on the popular climbing cliffs of Dún Síon.
Dingle Coastguard responded to the emergency call at 2.30pm.
The Shannon based Coastguard helicopter Rescue 115 was tasked to the scene as a rescue by rope was not feasible due to difficulty in accessing the location.
Following a two-hour rescue effort, the man was taken by helicopter to University Hospital Kerry.
