A woman in her 60s has died following a road crash in Co Limerick this evening.
The crash happened in Kildimo on the N69 road shortly before 5pm.
The car the woman had been driving collided with a van. She was the sole occupant of the car.
She was taken from the scene to University Hospital Limerick where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the van, a man, was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the crash and the road at the scene remains closed.
