A second man has been arrested in connection with the garda investigation into the background of Rachid Redouane, one of the three London attackers, while he lived in Ireland.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested in Wexford this evening, following a search of an apartment there.
He can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
Redouane, who carried out an attack on Saturday in London that killed seven people, lived in the Rathmines area of south Dublin for a period in 2012.
Earlier today, another man was questioned in Limerick before being released pending a file to the DPP.
Both men are under investigation for theft and fraud offences, and are suspected of using documents and PPS numbers associated with the London attacker.
The man arrested in Limerick, who was originally from Morocco, was living and working in Limerick city.
It is understood documents were seized during a search of an apartment the man was living in, including a personal public service number that may have links to Redouane.
He was detained for a number of hours and released early this afternoon.
