A 28-year-old woman is in a critical condition following an incident in Drogheda in Co Louth.
The scene at Rathmullen Park is the town has been preserved by gardaí for examination.
No details of how the woman was injured have been released.
She has been admitted to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
Gardaí said their inquiries are ongoing.
