Cocaine with an estimated value of €500,000 has been seized and a 19-year-old man arrested during an operation in Maynooth, Co Kildare.
The drugs were recovered when a vehicle was intercepted by gardaí at around 1.30pm today.
The operation was carried out as part of investigations by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, targeting serious criminal activity in the Dublin and Kildare regions.
The 19-year-old man arrested is being detained at Leixlip Garda Station.
