A motorcyclist has been killed in a road crash in Kilcullen, Co Kildare.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident which happened at around 1am on the Nicholastown-Kilcullen road between Kilcullen village and Mile Mill.
The man, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road has been closed and diversions are in place.
