A 24-year-old man has died in hospital following injuries sustained in a crash in Dublin over two weeks ago.

The man, who died in Beaumont Hospital, was one of six people injured when a car collided with four male pedestrians on Adelaide Road in the city centre on 22 August.

At the time of the incident the woman driver and one pedestrian were taken to St Vincent's Hospital. One pedestrian was taken to Tallaght Hospital, while another was taken to St James’s Hospital.

The fourth pedestrian was also taken to St James’s Hospital and was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital with serious head injuries.
