A thirty-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of Graham Johnson, who was stabbed to death in Cork Prison last weekend.
The man was arrested at Cork Prison at 8.20am this morning.
He was taken to Mayfield Garda Station where he can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
Johnson died after he was attacked and stabbed in the chest in the kitchen of Cork Prison at about 5pm last Saturday.
He is believed to have been attacked in a dispute over a television remote control.
