Two men in their mid-20s have been injured following a public order incident in Ballyfermot, Dublin.
Gardaí were called to the scene of a public order incident shortly after 1pm at Clifden Drive in Cherry Orchard, following reports of a disturbance in the area.
Gardaí say a number of youths were involved.
The injuries that the men sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.
A number of local garda units and an armed support unit remain at the scene this afternoon.
Gardaí have said their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
