An investigation is under way into an incident in Dublin city centre in which a man was stabbed.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following the incident at O'Donovan Rossa Bridge near Merchants Quay at around 11.45pm last night.
A 29-year-old man sustained a number of stab wounds and was taken to St James's Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
No arrests have been made.
