A man has been arrested after Ketamine and MDMA with an estimated street value of €3m was seized in north Dublin as part of an operation targeting drug importation.
Packages containing approximately 30kg of MDMA and 20kg of Ketamine were discovered after a van was stopped and searched in Kilbarrack yesterday afternoon.
An additional 1kg of herbal cannabis was discovered during a follow-up search at a house in the area.
A 43-year-old man was arrested at the scene and was taken to Raheny Garda Station.
The operation was carried out by officers from Revenue's Customs Service and members of the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Investigations are continuing into the discovery.
