A man in his 40s has been arrested as part of an investigation into the possession of fraudulent documents.
The arrest was made after a number of properties in the Dublin area were searched by gardaí from the Special Detective Unit.
The operation is being carried out in conjunction with the London Metropolitan Police.
The man is being detained at an undisclosed garda station on Dublin's northside under the Criminal Justice (Terrorist Offences) Act.
