Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after an eight-year-old boy was seriously injured in a road crash in Shankill in Dublin.
He was involved in a collision with a white van on the Shanganagh Road, near the Hazelwood estate, at around 4.45pm yesterday afternoon.
The boy remains in a serious condition in Temple Street Hospital.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or has any information about the collision to contact them at Shankill Garda Station on 01-6665900.
