A man who was arrested in relation to the attempted theft of an ATM in Co Cavan has been released without charge.
A file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The incident took place on Main Street in Virginia on 14 August.
The 25-year-old man was arrested yesterday.
Two other men aged in their 30s were also arrested and remain in custody at Kells Garda Station.
