Gardaí investigating ATM thefts in the border region have released without charge a man they were questioning.
A file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A second man, arrested last Wednesday, following an attempted ATM robbery in Virginia, is being treated in hospital.
His period of questioning will resume after he has been discharged from hospital.
A third man arrested as part of the investigation was released without charge last Friday.
