Gardaí have seized drugs worth almost €500,000 and a number of shotgun cartridges following a search in Dublin today.
As part of an operation targeting organised crime and the sale and supply of illegal drugs in the Dublin 15 area, gardaí from Blanchardstown, the K-Community Action Team (K-CATs) and the District Drugs Unit carried out a search of a house in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, this morning.
During the search, officers seized heroin (pending analysis) to the value of €435,000, cocaine (pending analysis) to the value of €54,000 and a number of shotgun cartridges.
A man in his 20s was arrested by gardaí and is currently being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
