Drugs worth €290,000 seized from Dublin house

Gardaí seized drugs worth €290,000 following the search of a house in Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí said the search of the house in Huntstown Court, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, took place after "confidential information" was received.

During the course of the search, gardaí discovered cannabis resin with an approximate street value of €247,000, cocaine with an approximate street value of €43,000 and ecstasy tablets with an approximate value of €1,150.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station for questioning.
