Two men have been arrested and charged over the theft of gardening machinery and industrial power tools.
The men, aged 29 and 38, were arrested when two cars, one of which was stolen, were intercepted at Dublin Port after arriving from the UK over the weekend.
It is believed the seized machinery, worth an estimated €50,000, was meant for the Irish black market.
The arrests were made as part of investigations under Operation Thor.
The two men were detained at Irishtown Garda Station and were due to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
