A 24-year-old woman has appeared in court charged in connection with a shooting in Dublin in which a baby boy was among three people injured.
Charlene Donovan, with an address at Parslickstown Gardens, in Mulhuddart, was charged with possession of a firearm, namely a shotgun, with the intent to endanger life, at Blanchardstown District Court.
A 29-year-old woman, her eight-month old baby and the baby’s 17-year-old uncle were taken to hospital after they were shot during an incident at Parslickstown Gardens on Monday afternoon.
Members of the Travelling community, who live in the estate, said it was the latest incident in a long running feud between two families.
Garda Michael Jones said Ms Donovan was arrested at 10.10pm last night and made no reply when charged.
Judge David McHugh adjourned the case until later today to allow Ms Donovan to apply for bail and said the case could be heard in camera.
Ms Donovan is the second person to be charged in relation to the incident.
Dan Donovan, formerly of Parslickstown Gardens, was brought before the Dublin District Court yesterday, charged with possession of a firearm and making a threat to kill.
The father-of-15 was remanded in custody with consent to bail to appear in court again next week.
